Bumrungrad International the initial private hospital to be awarded Thailand Quality Class (TQC) for organizational excellence

Bumrungrad International, Southeast Asia’s biggest private hospital and 1 of the world’s best medical travel destinations, has been recognized for its globe class organizational excellence by becoming awarded the Thailand Good quality Class (TQC) award for 2008.

Thailand’s Deputy Prime Minister Korbsak Sabhavasu, presented this prestigious award at the recent 2008 Thailand High quality Awards (TQA). The honor, based on the famous Malcolm Baldrige Award in America, recognizes an organization’s strategic, management, and operational good quality. Given that TQA began in 2002, Bumrungrad International is the 1st private hospital to qualify for TQC.

Following the typical set by The Baldrige Award, TQC honors companies–manufacturing and service, modest and big–along with education, well being care and nonprofit organizations that are judged to be outstanding in seven locations: leadership strategic planning consumer and market place focus measurement, evaluation, and information management workforce concentrate procedure management and results.
